Approach
Slow is the whole method.
Four steps, deliberately spread out. Nothing about good aesthetic medicine benefits from being hurried.
- 01 — ConsultationForty-five minutes with a clinician. History, examination under standardised light, and a conversation about what is actually bothering you. Chargeable, and deducted from later treatment.
- 02 — The written planSent within three days. Priorities in order, what each thing does, what it costs, how long it lasts, and what happens if you do nothing. Including the items we think you should defer.
- 03 — The waitAt least a week before anything is booked. Not a cooling-off period imposed on you — a working part of the method. People change their minds, and they should be free to.
- 04 — Treatment and reviewOnly what remains indicated. Reviewed at the interval the treatment actually requires rather than the interval that fills a diary.
On price
Quoted after examination, never before.
A price given before a clinician has looked at you is a price for a product, not for treatment. We will not publish a menu with per-unit rates, because it invites people to shop for volume and volume is not the goal.
The consultation fee is published, fixed, and the only number you will see before we meet.
Most consultations do not end in a needle.
The commonest plan we write is a change of skincare and a review in six months. It is the least profitable thing we do and the reason people send us their friends.
